Faerie Blood

Temporary extension on the Faerie Blood sale!

As y’all know, Internets, I had announced that the Faerie Blood sale would end on January 31st. So when the calendar rolled over to February 1st, I reset the price on the Faerie Blood ebook to $4.99 on the various places where it’s sold.

It is now correct everywhere except for Amazon’s US site, which for some reason is still convinced that the price is $2.99. I have an open support request to them about this, since as near as I can tell this means that their servers think that they should be price-matching against some other site when this is no longer actually the case.

But what it means for YOU, if you’re a US-based Kindle owner, is that OH HEY, the book is still on sale! So grab it for $2.99 while the grabbing is good!

Also, for those of you who are NOT US-based Kindle owners, since the price is actually correct everywhere else and I don’t want to stiff you out of an ongoing sales price, tell you what–I will hand-sell you the book in the format of your choice until the Amazon price resets itself.

ETA: Ah, comprehension dawns! Poked around the other places where the book is on sale and determined that while Smashwords HAS deployed the price reset out to Sony, Sony hasn’t caught up yet. So the book is still $2.99 on the Sony store. So if you’re a reader on that platform, you can scarf it for the sales price from that site right now too.

When Sony finally catches up though, Amazon should reset too.

Faerie Blood

Three days left on the Faerie Blood sale!

The clock is ticking down on the chance to grab the electronic edition of Faerie Blood for the bite-sized sum of $2.99, or the print edition for $15!

But there’s still time yet, so if you’d like Kendis and company on your ereader, or if you’d like me to send you a print copy, clickie right over to the book’s official page and check out your options! Don’t forget either that I’ll be happy to hand-sell the ebook to you as well, in the format of your choice, if you don’t want to go through any of the major ebook vendors where it’s posted. (In fact, I’ve already done that for one reader who very kindly emailed to ask!)

Many, many thanks to all who’ve picked up the book in the last several days, which has made January my second-best sales month ever!

Faerie Blood

Announcing a Faerie Blood SALE!

Because bad medical news makes me stressy and antsy, and because DAMMIT ALL next week is my birthday and I need a boost of spirits, and because I pretty much CAN, I am now putting Faerie Blood ON SALE!

Effective immediately (for values of ‘immediately’ meaning ‘as soon as all the ebook vending sites finish processing the price change’), the ebook edition of Faerie Blood will be available for $2.99. This price will be effective until the end of January (although if it causes a sharp enough spike in sales, I may run the sale longer). The sale price should be applicable to all sales on Amazon, B&N, iTunes, Smashwords, and Kobo, and for those of you who’d just as soon buy directly from me, I’ll happily hand-sell you the ebook in the format(s) of your choice for the same price.

Sale prices will also apply to the print editions I still have in my personal stock. $15 even to all comers and I’ll ship to you free of charge.

Signal boosts to all and sundry would be very, very appreciated, folks! Especially if you’ve already got your own copy of Faerie Blood. If you liked it, please tell folks. Reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, or any other place where Faerie Blood is sold would be awesome as well. Thanks all.

ETA: Might be helpful if I added LINKS, no? Here you go!

Amazon | Barnes and Noble | iTunes | Kobo | Smashwords

Those are all the main US links! Further links, including the various non-US Amazon, B&N, and iTunes sites, can be found on Faerie Blood’s official page!

ETA #2: Some more links, hopefully to pull in folks where I’ve periodically sold copies outside the US!

For my Canadian pals: Amazon CA | iTunes CA | Kobo

For the UK: Amazon UK | Nook UK | iTunes UK

And don’t forget, folks, you can also buy ebook copies directly from me if you’d rather not go through a commercial vendor! I’m the only source for the fancy PDFs with a high-res cover and a bonus interior pen-and-ink version of the cover art as well, which’d look awfully good on an iPad or a Kindle Fire or an Android tablet. Talk to me directly as well if you’d like a print copy of the book! Email to my angela.korrati address on gmail, or use my Contact form!

Faerie Blood

Faerie Blood in print for the holidays!

Hey all, just as a general reminder: I DO have print copies of Faerie Blood available to be hand-sold to anyone who wants one! So if ebooks aren’t your thing, but you’d still like Kendis and Christopher and Elessir on your shelf, I can help you out with that!

Normally I would ask $20 for any copy I’m mailing out, but for the month of December, I am going to waive my shipping charges. So whether I’m hand-delivering or mailing to you, the asking price until January 1, 2013, is $15 USD! (Or CAD, for my Canadian friends!)

Best way to pay me is via Paypal to my gmail address, annathepiper. Alternately, I will accept equivalent credit anywhere I can buy ebooks (first choices being the Barnes and Noble site and Kobo), or iTunes store credit! Lastly, I will also accept mailed checks or cash, just be advised that I won’t send out a book until I receive payment, so that’s the slowest option.

If you want a copy, please email me at the aforementioned email address to make arrangements! And thank you in advance for your support!

100 Faerie Blood sales achieved!

As of yesterday, a sale on the iTunes store officially kicked me over into three digits for Faerie Blood sales so far this year, since releasing the second edition! Many thanks to you, unknown iTunes reader! I hope you enjoy the book!

100 is not a huge number in the grand scheme of things–but honestly, given that I put it out there with the aid of Kickstarter and given that I am not terribly good at promoting myself (past posting here, and on my social networks), I’m quite happy with it! Monetarily speaking, tallying up my numbers, I see that I’ve made roughly $475 in sales. Psychologically speaking, though, there’s something quite satisfying about rolling over into three-digit territory. We’ll see how far I get by the end of the year!

Thanks again to all who have bought the new edition of the book, no matter what version you bought!

Faerie Blood

Self-pub sales update

In the event that any of you all coming in are new (since I’ve picked up a few Carina people following me on Twitter, hi Carina people!), here’s a quick note for you: while I’ll be writing for Carina under the name of Angela Highland, I’m also doing a series under my actual name of Angela Korra’ti. The first of those was Faerie Blood, originally published via Drollerie Press, reborn as a Kickstarter self-pubbed novel and now available on several major ebook sites as well as in print if you get it directly from me!

And now I’ve been keeping an eye on how my sales do. As expected, they’re teeny tiny numbers, but they’re non-zero, so now I’m pretty much at a state of ‘every so often pocket change shows up’. Which is really pretty nifty. This post is of course prompted by Amazon just notifying me that I’m about to get another drop of pocket change from them on the 28th–for the amount of $45.65. That’s going straight into the Buy Anna A Shiny Thing, Most Likely a New Macbook Fund. 😀

Amazon continues to be the place where I sell the most ebooks, though at least last month iTunes was giving it a bit of a run for its money. On both sites I’ve usually cleared 10 sales a month (though this month so far I haven’t had a one on iTunes). The Nook’s generally getting me 1-2 sales a month. Smashwords and Kobo are barely on the radar, with 2 sales for Smashwords and 3 for Kobo, and that’s total over the last couple of months.

I’m very pleased to report as well that whoever buys the next copy of Faerie Blood will in fact be my hundredth sale for this entire year! And remember, folks–if you want a print copy, you can buy those directly from me! Same deal if you’d like to buy the ebook and don’t want to go through the various vending sites, which of course want their own cut of my money. I will happily hand-sell you the book in the format of your choice.

Thanks to all who contributed to my sales last month! I hope you all have enjoyed or will be enjoying the book!

Faerie Blood

Faerie Blood print edition back in stock!

I really ought to have posted about this a few days ago when I got them–and I did in fact do so on the social networks–but for the record, I now have Faerie Blood‘s print edition back in stock for the time being now that the second print run has been completed!

I have a total of 22 copies currently available and should be getting a couple more back soon, the ones that got mislaid. So as always, y’all, let me know if you’d like to buy a copy off of me! Everything you need to know about getting one is right over here on the book’s official page.

In related news, I’ve seen a few sales start up for the ebook this month, following my experimental lowering of the ebook price down to $4.99. Many thanks to those who have bought it on Amazon, B&N, and Smashwords, if you happen to come by and read this!
